dangerous car.family nearly killed twice with gearbox failure.

in 2006 electric window motors fail leaving drivers window open to rain for 12 hours then a week later front passenger window fails to open. 2006 coils had to be replaced and gear box repaired twice.

2009 in march spent 1300 euro on a full service that includes timing belt at 45,000 miles. june 2009 automatic gear box fails again travelling at 100 kmph nearly causing a fatal road accident here we go again. this is automatic gearbox failure 3 times in 3 years

monday 22 june 09 phone renault customer care somebody will phone me back in 24 hrs but they did not so i phoned 23 june 09 told me they will phone me later that day to which they did not, 24 june 09 ,15.30 our time they phoned to say we take no care over my autogear box as the car is out of waranty so i said i will take leagal action against renault ireland... no reply that day from customer care, then an hour later i recive a phone call from liffey renault to say on good will,bring our car in and we will get it fixed. and renault ire, 30 june they both reneighed on their promise, never buy a renault again told a got a car of a bad batch by renault on 30 june 09. paul.
