Dodge Ram 5500 chassis attached to 2018 Dynamax Isata 5 36 DS motor home. Picked up my RV in June, 2020 from storage at Dylans RV, and UCONNECT 8.4 display was dead while traveling. Also noticed that my chassis batteries were constantly draining—even though UCONNECT was dead—and repeatedly had to have them jumped to start the vehicle. UCONNECT module replaced in September, 2020, by Ram dealer under warranty. RV went into storage in October, 2020, brought out for the season on April 1, 2021. Before I picked up my RV from storage, Dylans RV advised my two chassis batteries were defective (would not hold a charge), so I had them replaced.
During 1/2 hour drive to campground, UCONNECT intermittently and repeatedly rebooted. After engine was turned off, with key out of the ignition, the UCONNECT continues to reboot by itself intermittently—comes on for 2 or 3 seconds (shows the Ram logo), then off, then on again about every 20 minutes or so continuously forever. Also, chassis battery was showing drainage, so I connected a BATTERY TENDER to maintain voltage while parked. Incidentally, I believe the original UCONNECT problem in 2020 damaged my batteries over the 2020 season due to the constant battery drainage (unbeknownst to me) before my RV went into storage in October 2020.
