ProMaster van with 1800ish miles went into limp mode 200 miles from home. Would not go over 20 mph in rush hour Friday traffic coming out of Aspen Co. Finally got off the road and out of traffic. Dash showed warning lights check engine, throttle, and regen lights. vehicle would NOT go more than 20 mph period.
Called roadside asst, and was told that they had a tow truck enroute and that my out of pocket would be $230 to tow to the closest dealer. So I hung up on them and called my local dealer who said that wasn't how it should work at all. They called roadside assist and were told the same thing. I think they paid it but a tow truck came and picked up the van and gave me a ride to the dealer, where my local dealer had arranged a ride the other 150 miles home for me. They called Monday and said that my van was fixed after some "starcase " was found from Chrysler (I guess that some info) and after 3 failed attempts to clear the codes, they did and I picked it up. Another 1000 miles and the same issue happened again that's where I am today.
