Turbocharger, Turbo Speed Sensor, Turbo Gaskets and Seals
1. Do Not Replace Turbocharger for Exhaust Brake Operation Complaints.
Do not replace the turbocharger for complaints of exhaust brake operating when the
Exhaust Brake switch is off. Replacing the turbocharger will not address these
complaints. Update the PCM with the new software version to correct this issue.
2. Turbo Speed Sensor is Now Serviceable.
If a Turbocharger Speed Sensor is being replaced for a P2580 or any other reason,
the Turbo Speed Sensor is now available separate from the Turbocharger Kit.
do not replace the entire Turbocharger Kit.

3. Replace Exhaust Gaskets with Turbocharger Removal.~
If turbocharger is removed/replaced, the following items are not reusable and must
be replaced:
Turbocharger Gasket
Turbocharger Outlet Seal
Turbocharger Band Clamp
If the front exhaust pipe is removed/replaced, the following items are not reusable
and must be replaced.
Turbocharger Outlet Seal
Turbocharger Band Clamp
