The contact stated that upon entering the vehicle, the contact became aware that the side view mirror extender feature was not functioning as needed, compromising the visibility from the sideview. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined that the mirror extender switch had an electrical fault. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 73.
