The contact owns a 2019 Ram 3500 equipped with Nexen Tires, Tire Line: Roadian HTX RH5, Tire Size: LT235/80/R17, DOT Number: 8EX6CMFR2219. The contact stated while driving 65 MPH, the front passenger-??s side tire started to shake. The contact stated that he pulled over and changed the tire. The tire was taken to a tire shop where the mechanic diagnosed the failure as a separated tread belt causing a bulge in the tire. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that there was no issue with the tire nor an open recall. The manufacturer informed the contact to fill out an online complaint form for review. The contact stated that he previously experienced a failure on the front driver-??s side tire. The approximate tire failure mileage was 34,788.
Both front tires inner belts separated causing the vehicle to become underivable at 55 mph. The vehicle shook causing the steering wheel to radically move side to side. Took vehicle to dealer for service. Found both front tires to be defective at 29000 miles for inner belts separating from the tire.
