The contact coasted the vehicle to the side of the road and replaced the front driver's side tire. The vehicle was taken to an unknown dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated that the failure recurred twice. The front passenger side steel belt sidewall of the tire detached and was replaced by the contact. The manufacturer was not notified of the failures. The approximate tire and vehicle failure mileage was 20,000. The dot number and VIN were not available.
