The contact owns a 2016 Ram 3500. While driving various speeds, there was excessive exhaust fumes entering the cabin of the vehicle from the engine and through the firewall. The vehicle was taken to larry H. miller Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram boise (located at 222 S. auto drive, boise, id 83709) to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that it was acceptable for some exhaust fumes to enter the cabin of the vehicle. It was also suggested by the service adviser to have the windows down while operating the vehicle, but the contact found that to be unacceptable. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the issue on two occasions and the contact received case numbers: 31719201 and 31501985. The approximate failure mileage was 3,000. Updated 08/22/17
