TPMS sensors being called out in wrong locations for rear tires. TPMS was calling out tires in wrong positions and values. Front was also calling it incorrect values. Dually. Problems with incorrect call outs caused multiple trips to repair shops, to repair tires that we're inflated properly but reading out on wrong side of vehicle. After last visit, dealer replaced two allegedly bad sensors while only one bad one was identified as bad by discount tire. While all TPMS appeared to be reading after this repair, right rear outer TPMS was reading a steady 68 psi while all other tires started off lower and increased appropriately as tires heated up with driving, this sensor reading did not change. Due to crossed readings on front, right front tire was indicating low pressure while prosperous inflated, and left front went flat, due to incorrect TPMS sensor readings, stranding vehicle until it could be replaced and taken to shop. Consider Chrysler recall P62... also dealer now claims that inner and outer tires use the same stpms sensors, when other have reported that the inner and outer tires on the dually use different sensors.. build date 10/2014.... looks like you. Needed to recall a broader range of dually than just the chassis cab for TPMS dor 2015's under P62 I am at dealer again, as they bumble their way around fixing the TPMS and attempting to also update the radio software from 15.17.5 to 18.45.01

During a trip on an improved highway, the front end began to shake violently. The steering wheel was hard to keep ahold of at 50 mph. At this time the truck had 17596 miles on it. When we returned home I called my Dodge dealer, landers mclarty to express my concern of the truck performance. Subsequently I brought the truck in for an inspection and resolution of the problem. The report was that the tires were cupped and I needed new tires. I felt that this should be treated as defective equipment and that they should cover the cost. The tires are nexon tires from S. Korea. At 17596 miles they should not fail that soon. I was told by the GM that they have trouble with tires on 'this kind of truck and that I got good usage at 1759 miles. Am taking the the vehicle to an independent truck center to have an inspection and remediation F tires if needed. Have been told that 17596 miles is too soon for tires to fail. Dodge Ram dealer, landers mclarty refuses to honor my 10 year warranty due to tire problem.

Nexen roadian htx RH5 lt235R/80-17 lr E. right front tire has started to have an internal issue. The tire has "crowned" on the tread line. Meaning it has an arc on tread area from side to side and is higher in the center. Vehicle vibrates while driving it between 40 to 70 mph. All tires were rotated at about 6,500 miles. The vehicle is at 7,900 miles currently. The vehicle has always had some shaking to it since it was new. It has gotten progressively worse. I won't even bother with a warranty claim. These tires should be banned from us dot approval and fca should be fined hevavely for being allowed to put nexen tires on it's trucks period. All owners should be given credit towards purchasing replacement tires. There are many forums with various complaints about the nexen tires being installed on Ram trucks. For the safety of myself and fellow Ram owners the nexen tires should be banned from entering the usa either via oem choice or any retailer or commercial seller. These tires have an early 2014 date code. I'll be purchasing a nice new pair of Bridgestone tires for my truck.

Before I had 7500 miles on vehicle I had to replace both steer tires due to separation that was determined to be defective tires, since the I have had to replace 3 additional tires for same defect, complete separation of build material that has caused extreme bounce and vibration resulting in 5 tires being replaced due to defects, retailer that has handled the last 3 stated this is very common to the Ram trucks with these nexen brand tires

2015 Dodge Ram 3500 dually with 28,000 miles on it and I have already replaced 3 of the 6 tires due to tire tread separation. I have never experienced anything like this before, but have never owned this brand of tires either. These are the original tires that came on the truck to begin with. Very poor tire!

The front tires wear excessively on the outer edges. I have taken it to fletcher Dodge 3 times to correct the issue. The service department acknowledged that this is a problem they have seen before with this model vehicle. Fletcher Dodge did replace the 2 front tires and performed an allignment. Chrysler set up a star account and worked on it. Chrysler acknowledged there is a problem but do not know what it is and there is nothing they can do, and it is caused be towing heavy loads. I drive it mostly and from work. I use a 2 horse trailer about 4 times a year for aproximately 340 miles and hay 3 times a year for approximately 40 miles.
