Dodge still has been no help. All the Dodge Forums are talking about the same issue and about getting the run around from dealerships to resolve it. Dodge is also not dealing with the issue. An example would be the 2015 eco-diesel 1500 that Dodge said that there were only 11 reported cases of fumes in the vehicle. After an inquirey was done it was found that were 100's of cases and that prompted a vehicle recall.
Don who is supposedly a supervisor for the shop told me that I need to drive my truck for 100 miles on the highway in order to get the REGEN process to complete. Now in the owners manual I only have to do that if the REGEN light comes on. So now I'm operating my vehicle outside what is in the owners manual to fix a smell coming into the cab that should not be able to get in regardless of what process is happening outside the vehicle.
Now I have been in contact with the customer support throughout the all the issues with my vehicle. Again no compensation or even an offer of what they will do for me. I have been a loyal Dodge owner even when the company was not doing well. That loyalty is being tested and to level that it never should be. I don't trust this vehicle to have my children in it because we are randomly being poisoned when the fumes come into the vehicle. Oh and did I mention that if the dealer can't get it to happen for them then the problem does not exist.
