3500 Laramie 6.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 25,000 miles

Bought truck new from dealer. Hardly any towing with the truck so far. Actually the heaviest thing that has been towed was 6K lbs. It started around 5K miles and its been to the dealer about 7 times to fix the problem. The drive shaft has been replaced two times. The tires have been pulled from the truck and balanced. The air pressure has been checked two dozen times. Still vibrating like crazy. Speeds from 55mph to 80mph. Can't seem to find out what's wrong. Drinks spill everywhere in the cup holders. Its a 2013 ram mega cab 4x4 Laramie. Cannot believe $61,000 gets you a vehicle with this quality. I have owned 2001 Ram, 2003 Ram and a 2007 Ram. I have spent more on this truck than any other truck and have had the most problems from this 2013 Ram. I expect Ram to make this right.

3500 Longhor 6.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 9,000 miles

This brand new Longhorn Dually has had vibration issues from day one, small but noticeable. As the vehicle ages and acquires miles we could now rock a baby to sleep or scramble eggs in the front passenger seat due to the vibrations. Our initial consult with Service department at dealership recommend road testing new tires, (on a new vehicle?) We played their silly game and ended replacing the factory General tires with 6 new Michelin tires (its only $ and if it works well spent $) This did not fix the problem, the next attempt was to replaced a U Joint, yes you guessed it, it still vibrates. This truck has 9000 miles, After 6 painful months of ownership 2 of which we have parked at the dealership intermittently and all the while awaiting the RAM / Chrysler area rep I have yet another wasted day out of my valuable time. 4 individuals drove my vehicle all conceded that there was indeed a noticeable vibration, then off to the dealership to find another NEW RAM 3500 dually only to have the same problem. The resounding and sad fact is this company was represented by a man that claimed "this is our product and you bought it" The local dealership also "does not want this vehicle back" I don't either, my next step is to file this under the Lemon Law. I have in the past been a proud Dodge owner, only to be highly disappointed with the product that I have purchased. What has Chrysler come to that allows them create a $70k blender and market it as a "Truck of the Year" I should follow their slogan and on the eighth day buy a FORD.
