Dodge has said for the last 4 years, the updates over the air will fix it. Or It just needed a flash update. This bullshit has been going on for over 4 years. They have given me free oil changes and done several "flash updates" and regular updates and the piece of sh*t still doesn't work. Now the damn thing comes on whenever it wants to or not at all!! They continue to apply band aids to the excuses and so far after buying this $67,000 vehicle, they wanted me to pay $1800 to replace the stereo back in 2014. NEVER will I buy another Dodge ever again!!! REDAMNDICULOUS!!!
The truck has had this problem since it left the lot , sometimes working sometimes not. every time I take it in to get looked at they tell me there was no issue, so now it has finally quit altogether, but I bet know they say its not covered.
This radio/touch screen also controls towing and hauling settings. So, it just goes out and you have no control of setting which trailer you are hauling and breaks. Not good when you have a 4 horse trailer pulling loaded or 15000 pounds of hay on a 35' trailer and need to STOP! Dodge stores say "Oh yeah, we don't put those in anymore. We can order you one but the newer models stopped using that radio. OK, this was January or so of 2014 and we bought the truck October of 2013. REALLY?
