Manifestation of 'dodge death wobble'. Violent shaking of front end on the interstate. I had to bring the truck to a halt to stop it.

i have experience the death wobble 4 times so far since the recall of replacing bar with heavy duty ball joints in the steering system. internet investigations shows many of the same problems.

Update from May 5, 2017: problem went away after installing new rancho steering stabilizer

I have been experiencing Death Wobble sometimes when I hit a bump at highway speed. I had the entire front end rebuilt, Front end alignment and the tires rotated. The tires are less than a yr old and a lot of tread. Nothing helps.

Truck goes into a death wobble when traveling at approximately 65mph and hitting a bump in the roadway. Have had aftermarket steering stabilizer shocks, installed, new shocks and new tires, and new sleeve in steering shaft. This is a stock vehicle with no lift kit or other suspension modifications. Used basically to tow an RV.
