Driving down the highway around 4am 12/3/13 the bottom fell out of my truck. I was fortunate to coast to the shoulder as the failed parts had severed the fuel line. Not sure where the failures started but the results are the transfer case has disintegrated, however, the gears and insides seem to be intact. The front yolk broke off and it would appear that severed the fuel line and tore a hole in the side of the Transmission. All of this wouldn't be that bad, since that Semi did a masterful job of not running my butt over and I wasn't injured in any way.
So my complaint comes as a result of the good folk at the Ram Powertrain Division refusing to cover the repair under the warranty. I believe the Customer service lady (Krista) eloquently put it as " this was the final decision and there would never be any changes to that decision moving forward". So that's where I'm at. The service personnel at the dealer ( Five Star dodge 2817 Watson Blvd Warner Robins. Ga 31093) has yet to reach out to me with a courtesy call. Good news tho, Chrysler Customer service invited me to take an online survey on the call that informed me they were not covering the repairs.
Thanks for your time.
