I’ve owned Ram trucks for a while and it seems that the quality and control have taken a dump. My Ram 2500 decides to take a dump at 63,000 miles, ticking, knocking noise. I got it to dealership and they started digging in and eventually took the whole cab off and found major issues from cam to lifters to needing a new engine. I’ve been told that the warranty company “Star” will do everything to not cover the $23,000 motor.
I’ve watched several videos and complaints of all the problems with these 6.7L diesel engines exploding inside. I have kept my service updates since I purchased it during Covid pricing.
I am hoping I don’t have to file a suit. It appears that Chrysler made huge changes in the 2025 Cumming’s 6.7L why can’t they do this with the new motors they replaced. On another note I now understand the replacement motors are remanufactured and not new!
