Within the first month of purchasing the new truck, I noticed the painted part of the Rambox lid was sliding off. The one on the passenger side rubbed the paint off on the bedside. After the second attempt to fix it at the dealership, the passenger side latch became really hard to operate.
At the 5 month mark, the dealership took the truck in to make the repairs and to repaint what was needed as far as painting on the passenger side. After 10 days I get a call to pick the truck up, but when I inspected it, the lid will not open. There is still an issue with the latch. After a few minutes the technician was able to get the box opened but now he thinks the locking mechanism needs to be replaced. I have no idea when this might be done and currently cannot even open the box.
Both boxes are crooked and do not match the lines of the truck at all. Each one rubs the bed on one end and has a 3/4" or larger gap on the other. Not something you would expect on such an expensive vehicle within the first month of owning it.
