CAMERA (surround view - digital)
When vehicle is equipped with surround view system (XAK sales code) and rear camera is not functioning - If rear camera is not functioning we would expect to see these Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTCs) set by the Central Vision Processing Module (CVPM) - B217A-92 Rear Camera-Performance or Incorrect Operation U0264-00 Lost Communication With Camera Module - Rear 1. Take picture of head unit display so we can verify what part of the image is not functioning (Surround View vs. Rearview Camera) 2. Take vehicle scan and config report so we can verify s/w, DTCs, and vehicle config 3. If rear camera is not functioning, disconnect and reconnect the camera to ensure that the same camera is still not functioning. We want to ensure that the connection at the rear camera is secure. 4.
