First day I drove this truck [4 days after I bought it, due to rat damage under hood that was not fixed until the 2nd time delivered] I went to make right on red with plenty of time, the dead pedal issue happened. Of course I had pulled out in front of a Semi. After a time the throttle came back on like the cruise control comes on when you hit resume. Really glad the semi had enough room to not rear end me.

The dealer told me it was probably water in fuel. I took it on an interstate round trip 450 miles. I got back in NC, and on hills and curves it happened every time I slowed down. I went back to Autonation John City Tenn. and explained what was going on. I got a loaner and came back 3 days later to get the truck and was told it never happened. When I read the repair order, it said I had told them it was hesitating between 40 and 50. Huh?

I took my life in my own hands and drove the 70 mi. home, parked it, went home to S.C. (in another vehicle) where I have a computer and internet. Now I have an official FCA case # 5969-3805. I went back to N.C. and had Ram towed to another dealer. Fast forward 96 days later - no truck and I am out $47,000+ (I paid cash) and haven't seen the vehicle since. FCA customer service still denies ever hearing about dead pedal. If anyone has a bit of advice, please let me know.
