The contact owns a 2016 Ram 2500 equipped with a hensley arrow anti-sway trailer hitch. While driving 5 mph, the vehicle made an abnormal noise. Upon inspection, the contact noticed that the a frame and offset receiver bar were fractured in half. A dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was contacted and requested that the part be sent to them and any damages that occurred would have to go through the contact's insurance company. The VIN was unknown. The failure mileage was approximately 500.
