I was driving down the Interstate when all of a sudden my truck started vibrating/shaking so bad that I could hardly control the steering. Everything flew off of my seats & the phone holder that I had suctioned onto windshield came off. I had no idea what was going on and I was lucky that the vehicles next to me & behind me saw my truck shaking so bad that they also slowed down so that I could get over & off the Interstate within minutes. I had the tires balanced less than 3000 miles prior because there was a shaking (nothing like this) when I drove the Interstate.
Update from Jun 21, 2017: Dealership shop replaced the Track Bar & Steering Dampener after I experienced what they called a "Death Wobble". they said my truck was good to go but I still had a vibration when driving over 60mph. Took it back to the shop & after looking at it for a day theysaid they do not know what is causing the issue. So now they are keeping it another day to look further into the drive trane.
Chrysler knows that this is an issue & has been for quite a few years, yet they still have no solution to fixing the problem & those of us purchasing these trucks have no idea about the problems we are going to be experiencing and the amount of time we will be without a vehicle & the time our trucks will be in the shop.
