The contact owns a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500. The contact stated that while accelerating at 50 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was able to restart. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred on multiple occasions. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 1,500.
The contact owns a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500. The contact stated that he was unable to engage the vehicle into lock mode. The vehicle was taken to a dealer for diagnosis and the contact was informed that the locker gear kit, actuator and a carrier would need to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was 12,000 and the current mileage was 17,000....updated 06-19-13 the consumer stated the ring and pinion were not replaced, as the parts were on back order. Updated 06/27/13
