Recall P65, received notice in Oct. 2014, contacted Dodge day letter was received. Asked if vehicle was safe to drive at which time they stated "we can not tell you if your vehicle is safe or not", asked to schedule service and informed no parts at this time...fast forward 5 months..on the Dodge website it clearly states my vehicle must be inspected for fuel leak on this recall...so I call Dodge and once again I'm told no parts yet, they don't even know what parts are needed, so I once again asked if the vehicle was safe to drive and that I won't have an engine fire and received the same response as last time...I asked if at least my vehicle can be inspected to see if it has a fuel leak so I know if it's safe to drive and the response was no, since no parts, "its a liability issue if they inspect and don't have parts".....nor will they provide a rental and guess what if it catches fire they won't pay for it...I didn't spend over 50K to have a lawn decoration, I bought the vehicle to drive!

My truck would not crank over when I went to drive it. Dodge dealership has had it over a week and thought it was the tipm module. The got one 4 days later and now it wont allow programming so it is still not fixed and I am left without a truck while they learn how to fix it at my expense. So far I have been quoted $920 for the part and $260 for the labor. The service manager said he would take the master mechanic from the fleet department to start another diagnosis process.

2500 6-cyl Diesel

I purchased a 2012 Ram truck from melloy Dodge with 14,000 miles on it. I haven't even had it a year and it was a top of the line truck. So, it is still under factory warranty plus they sold me an extended platinum warranty. A couple weeks ago, I went to get in my truck in the morning and it was completely dead and would not start. I immediately called the dealership and they towed the truck to the dealership. The power module went out on the truck. The service writer then called me to say there was a scratch on one of the posts under the engine so the repair would not be covered under warranty and I must pay it out of pocket. I never did anything to that truck. I woke up and it was completely dead. The dealer found any excuse to get out of covering the repair under warranty. Plus, I purchased the truck from them used. The scratch on the post was probably there all along. They looked for a reason to get out of covering the truck under warranty. I have never had to deal with such dishonest, unethical people. This is not acceptable or fair. It is dishonest. I am very upset I had to pay an almost $1000 repair due to this. They should not be allowed to get by with treating customers like this and being dishonest in the way they deal with customers. I did try to contact them to resolve this to no avail. I wonder if next time I have a repair, if they will find a bogus excuse to get out of honoring their warranty and double platinum top of the line warranty. This is unacceptable! what good is a warranty?

On Monday 9-2-2013 I dropped of my truck and took my car for a ride. When I returned to get my truck for work I realized that the center dash had caught on fire.the truck was full of smoke so I disconnected the battery and called my insurance company. On 9-3-2013 I contacted Chrysler corporation to report the incident but I am not getting any call backs from them so know im letting the insurance company handle it.I have obtained a surveillance tape copy of the fire.
