I stopped at a stop sign and go to accelerate and the engine turns off. Electrical is still on and no codes are flashing. I was stranded in the middle of the street with on coming traffic. Luckily it was early in the morning and I was able to restart the truck after about 30 seconds. It was dark and if a vehicle was driving down that road where I was stranded it could have been really bad or even worse. I didn't even get a check engine light until later that after noon. code P032F (PCM)
JUST GOT THIS A MONTH AGO. 14,000 MILES. AFTER COMING TO A BRIEF STOP OR NEAR STOP, AND THEN TRYING TO GO AGAIN,ENGINE SHUTS ITSELF OFF, WARNING LIGHTS COME ON, AND IT ENGAGES PARKING BRAKE. HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES NOW. THEN YOU HAVE TO PUT IN PARK, TURN OFF EMERGENCY BRAKE AND RESTART THE VEHICLE. SOMETIMES IT TAKES 2 OR 3 TRIES TO DISENGAGE PARKING BRAKE AND LET YOU GO AGAIN. ALL WHILE PULLING OUT IN TRAFFIC. I SEE THIS COMPLAINT EVERYWHERE ON FORUMS. THIS IS GOING TO GET SOMEONE KILLED! (Yes, I put the auto start stop eliminator on it, it says it is off, but has not stopped the problem.)
