Brake pedal travels excessively on first application of brakes with overall poor braking performance. A rapid second or brake application brings brake pedal up to normal level, 1-2 inches higher than initial application resulting in normal braking performance. The pedal height to firm solid pedal can be experienced parked or in motion. Had it at the dealer twice with no resolution to date. The reduced braking performance is a high risk to safely driving the vehicle.
