My emergency brake engaged while traveling about 10mph on a two lane road at 5am in morning, with total darkness outside. The truck came to an abrupt and complete stop, no warning lights before, during or after. I had a vehicle behind me thankfully stop in time before hitting me (I got lucky). The E brake released after multiple tries (5 min). If this had happened at highway speed and not on a slow curve, I could easily have been killed and I don't want to even think about this happening again with my family in the truck. I do not see any specific recall on this although I do see the same issue in other forums. No one seems to have the answer to this incredibly dangerous and potentially deadly issue with the 2021 Ram 1500.
