I have a 2019 Ram Limited that I've just discovered recently has several leaks coming into the cab of the truck. I found this about a month ago when I pulled up my floormats to vacuum the carpets. The drives side floor board was completely soaked with about an inch of standing water. I took used my shop vac to extract as much of the water as I could and then went to see my local Dodge Ram dealer. I was told this was a known problem with this truck and that it was because the third brake light seal had failed. So I had them replace it for $230. Needless to say the next time it rained water got into the truck again. I took it back to the dealer to troubleshoot which resulted in an estimate to replace the back window at the cost of $1650. I told them I couldn't understand how a leak from that location ended up in the drivers floorboard but they explained that as the water leaks into the headliner that it collects there and then when the truck is moving that the water travels thru the drain channel to the front of the truck. Sounded like BS to me so I started watching some YouTube videos and came across this one that addressed the issue https://youtu.be/sx1pRh3nAXQ?si=EcJNqNUS9WHdlPfB. I would like to know if anyone else has seen this or has been able to fix the leak into the front drivers side floorboard.
