The glue on the dashboard failed a few days ago, leaving waves, lifting and bubbles. The repair cost is $3200 for a new dash as the only solution. The glue clearly failed, and now that I"ve had a chance to research this seems fairly common. Vehicle is in otherwise near perfect shape, looks almost new, leather seats show zero signs of wear, zero wear on the carpets. I wash the car at least weekly as part of a care wash membership. Oil done every 5,000 miles. This well-documented manufacturer defect happened in the North, where I split my time in Northern Massachusetts and Lakes Region, NH and actually popped during December. I am now unable to sell or trade the car without a significant price allowance for a manufactures defect that was not disclosed.

leather dash bubbling

My beautiful 2019 Ram Longhorn leather dashboard is delaminating/bubbling. Since it's out of factory warranty FCA will not fix it. I was told it will cost $2400. Extremely annoying to see my truck looking so bad. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The upper dashboard leather trim is loosing grip, creating bubbles. Really bad for such an expensive truck. Vehicle is under warranty. Hope I will get it fixed.

1500 Laramie LongHorn 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 19,500 miles

At about 19,500 miles in my 2019 Ram Longhorn, the dash started forming bubbles like it is the leather getting loose. After all the quality I thought it was it is disappointing. I will reported to the dealer under warranty and hope its get fix or replace. After the price of this truck it is a problem that should never occurred. My truck sleep's in a garage and while working during the day always has a sun shield on. Maintenance is very well done with leather conditioners and cleaners.
