This is where Ram has tried to automatically set the level of light on your instrument lighting by taking your ability to make adjustments to your liking away. The problems comes in when your lights come on automatically before dusk making it impossible to see the instruments on the dash. You can not over ride this setting unless you switch your light control to manual. They have taken something as simple as a dimmer control and over complicated it😩.
