Flash: Powertrain Diagnostic And System Enhancements
This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest
available software.
Some customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon
further investigation the technician may find one or more of the following DTCs:
· **P2299 - Brake Pedal Position/Accelerator Pedal Position Incompatible.**
· P0335 - Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit.
· P2610 - PCM Internal Engine Off Timer Performance (5.7L Engine).
· P0456 - EVAP System Small Leak.
· P1D73 - Active Grill Shutter (AGS) Performance.
In addition to the above DTCs, this software release also includes:
· Improved shift quality during initial operations of a vehicle in cold ambient
temperatures (5.7L Engine).
· Improved key-on engine-off oil pressure lamp behavior.
