This is very annoying when you expect things to work... I was traveling about 320 miles the other day and wanted to use my cruise control in which I have only used twice in the last 3 years, but when I pushed the button nothing happened. I tried pushing all the buttons but nothing. Then I tried using voice activation, but nothing came on for that. I am not sure what's happening but I no longer have the the time or patience!
