The contact leased a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500. While the vehicle was parked on an incline in 4 wheel drive and with the emergency brake engaged, the vehicle rolled backwards. The contact stated that the failure occurred on several occasions. The dealer (meadowland of carmel, 1952 us-6, carmel, NY 10512, 833-225-9640, 845-842-1066) was notified and indicated that this was a known failure by the manufacturer. The vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 17V821000 (power train). The manufacturer issued nine tsbs for the power train. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 37,000.
