The contact owns a 2015 Ram 1500. While driving 60 mph, the rear suspension's air system abruptly activated causing the vehicle's rear end to lift and the front end to drop abruptly. The contact dove to chris nikel Chrysler Dodge Ram (2920 North aspen avenue, 145th East avenue & the B.a. expressway, broken arrow, ok 74012, (918) 940-6785). The dealer diagnosed that the rear compressor failed and needed to be replaced. The dealer also stated that the air bag compressor system may need to be disabled. The contact stated that the suspension had an air bag that was operated by the computer system and the rear suspension air bag failed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 49,000.
The contact owns a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500. While driving approximately 55 mph over a dip in the road, the rear of the vehicle began to sway to the right. The failure recurred each time the vehicle struck a bump in the road. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 1,300.
