The contact owns a 2015 Ram 1500. The contact received a recall notice for NHTSA campaign number: 18V332000 (electrical system). The vehicle was taken to staunton Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (907 w frontage rd, staunton, il) to be repaired. Two months later, while driving 61 mph with the cruise control activated, the speed increased to 70 mph down a hill. The contact stated that the vehicle also made an abnormal noise while driving up and down the hill. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where they stated that it was normal for the vehicle to accelerate approximately 12 mph while driving on a decline. The manufacturer was not contacted. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 28,567.
