I leased my Ram 1500 in March 2015, in May 2015 it started and died one morning, then restarted on a second try. The truck then proceeded to sputter on starts on cool mornings and after work. It doesn't have any issues when the morning temperature is above 55. Under 55 degrees the truck sounds like it has a big cam in it and misses for up to 20 seconds before idling smooth. When this occurs there is a large smell of raw fuel. The truck has been to the dealer at least 6 times, twice for week long observations. the dealer says that even though I have multiple videos of the problem since there is no computer code tripped they don't know what to fix. The adviser says that they are chasing ghosts. I went through the Dodge Corp to try to get a resolution and got the same run around about no computer code no problem to resolve. Dodge Corp told me that I have to reopen my case when it gets cooler and my truck presents a persistent problem. My husband met another Ram owner with the same issue and when I presented their solution to my dealer and Dodge Corp they still don't want to fix the problem. I was told that they don't want to throw parts at the truck hoping for an answer. I feel dealing with this for over a year is way too long. Thinking about trying some one other than Cherry Creek Dodge aka Larry H Miller.
