Complained, had a crash. Couldn't find anything wrong. Recall on braking problem and had it repaired along with complete brake inspection (21,000 miles) after inspection couldn't find anything. Suggested new discs and pads. (They were well within specs) Didn't replace. Still feels like they aren't going to stop. Seems to get harder the closer to a stop. Also seems to lurch as if engine revs and foot has never been on accelerator and cruise control is off. Looking for solution. Love the truck except for IFFY brakes.

Update from Feb 4, 2019: I now have 26,000 Miles and have notices that when I am coming tor a stop and as it is decelerating and it's downshifting the engine rpm rises and the braked pedal sometmes becomes very hard almost like My foot is on Brake and Accelerator at the same time, these aren't panic stops. If I release brake it stops okay after that. This both Scary and Irritating. Never since 1957 (my first vehicle) and many vehicles since then have I had this experience.

Time for service again and will register complaint again.

Constant problem, after not using vehicle for 2 or more days, have to press brake pedal first, to startup. Brake pedal hard, (loss of vacuum). Been to 2 dealerships, "not able to find problem". I'm a retired master mechanic, that owned my own business, for many years, and know what I'm talking about. Told them how to fix it, but wont do so. Because vehicle is under warranty, they have to see it themselves, before replacing any parts. At one dealership, I called parts department first before appointment, to secure a brake booster check valve, in my name, as a cheap attempt to fix problem. Not used, "no problem found" they said.

At other dealership where I purchased truck, Service Mgr. said "could be brake booster" yet no repairs. I love this truck otherwise, I need a truck with a lot of grunt to pull my 9000 lb. boat and trailer, which it does a good job doing so. Even opened a case with Chrysler, but if they can't find problem, they won't attempt a fix. Maybe, after warranty runs out , I'll fix it myself, at least I know how.
