Tailgate of truck randomly falls/opens during driving on roadways. It appears to be related to auto-lock/unlock feature or plastic parts in latch. I have had it replaced 2 times and it appears to take care of the issues temporarily. Currently it is every 8th time the doors are unlocked and then locked. Previous warranty work was every 4 start/stops. It is not tied to any other issue because it may go a week or two without issue and then randomly open. Is a safety issue while hauling cargo on the interstate at speed. Dealer 1st replacement stated the tailgate mechanism binds and then falls. Known issue with 2015 Ram rebels and other models of 1500. This happens and smooth road or bumpy roads at slow speed and high speed. Not when parked. Has happened 10 times in the last 4 weeks.
