U connect services for my 2015 RAM stopped working. Was told by Uconnect that the radio had a 3G chip in it, and as the 3G cellular towers are being replaced through out the country with 5G, the radios are becoming obsolete. Was sent a 4G adaptor by Uconnect to plug into my truck as a short fix, but that doesn't work either.
When I contacted my local Dodge dealer I was told they could try an update to the system, but 50% of the time the radio would lock up and that would require a new radio installation to fix the problem. New radio would also have a 3G chip. Not a fix...
So it seems a lot of RAM owners are about to be screwed by Dodge when the 5G towers all come on line...
