Truck was bought new. Was less than 5 years old with only 30,000 miles. The touchscreen went blank without any reason. I didn't misuse, or was in an accident. Contacted several dealer service centers and none of them had heard of this problem - yet you find lots of other trucks with this problem. Still making payments. No backup camera, no radio, no climate control. So paid $50,000.00 for a truck with a bunch of fancy electronics that doesn't work. Happy new year.
Purchased Pre-cert used from dealership. Had the truck less than a year, bulbs keep going out in brake lights and the Radio / Console went black after flickering and making the speakers "pop" even though audio was turned off at the time.
Not sure what caused it, it went out a few times before, but came back on. This time it hasn't come back on and its been days. Radio doesn't work, buttons to control radio on steering wheel don't work, no blown fuses, and no luck with disconnecting batter and turning it back on after depleting the circuit. Dealership started the conversation with "$1500 for a new one". I'll buy it on ebay and fix it myself before I do that but I shouldn't have to on a truck I paid 18k for less than a year ago for something that's been a KNOWN problem for YEARS to the point where its so common it should be a recall. My $500 piece of sh*t car still has the original working radio.... come on now.
