My 2014 Ram Sport was purchased used in 2019 and had 58000+ miles. I got into my truck turned it on and placed it into reverse. [automatic tran] It went back 6 inches and bucked like I hit a brick wall. Tried again same result. Cannot get the vehicle to go backwards. This happened about 2 months ago but after pulling forward a few feet, no problems. I am looking at anywhere from 4k- 6k to fix according to repair shops.
I had talked to Ram customer service earlier in the month regards a different problem and was told that they would extend or provide assistance for paying for drivetrain and other issues. When I called today it was tough luck, sweetheart. Nasty email sent to corporate. It's a bleeping shame that I buy American and it's crap, and they don't stand behind their word. The worst thing about it is I bought a 2003 Ram fresh out of the box in 03, drove it for 300000 miles and never had a problem, and the body looked like it just came off the showroom floor. Guess that sh*t don't fly anymore either.
really great truck, but... with the control of the transmission its freezen and flashing light, to fix this i need turn of and again turn on and then i can use the transmission control
an other problem its the front and rear park sensor, some times does not function properly and leaves a sign of service
the rear camera sometimes freeze frames just by second
the air suspension sometimes i can not lower the height and sometimes not work
the handfree (bluetooth), when i have call in seconds the system shootdown and i miss the call
tnks!!
