At around the 10 month mark or 11000km's the transmission started shifting hard from first to second, it only happens once, so you have to be paying attention. I back my truck in my driveway every night, putting it in drive and then, rolling out with not a lot of throttle will cause the rpms to continue to climb, if you don't adjust the throttle position, it will climb as high as 4500rpm before suddenly slamming into 2nd gear. This is enough to jerk your head back and shuffle the keys, spill the coffee, it is very noticeable. Even my oblivious to anything mechanically wrong wife notices it when she drives it in the morning.
I've brought it into the dealership 3 times now, left it overnight, but because of the nature of the issue, it is easy for them to say no fault found and send me on my way.
The last time I brought it in, they did a quick learn and it did help for a little while but after a couple months, the problem started to return. After 6 months, it is very noticeable and going back to the dealership again to have them look at it overnight.
