The contact owns a 2014 Ram 1500. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired under NHTSA campaign number: 15V459000 (air bags) however, after the recall repair was performed, the horn, electronic functions on the steering wheel, and instrument panel became inoperable. The contact took the vehicle to all american Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat of san angelo (4310 sherwood way, san angelo, tx 76901) who inspected the vehicle and diagnosed the failure as an electrical short of the clockspring in the steering wheel which the dealer stated was not an issue related to the previous recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 56,945.
