The contact owns a 2014 Ram 1500. The contact stated while slowing down for a traffic signal or for traffic, the vehicle RPM-??s fell to 564 RPM, and the vehicle started to stall. The contact stated that the target idle RPM should be set to approximately 900 RPM while idling. The contact stated that the failure was constant and had to have the vehicle towed several times due to not being able to restart the vehicle following a stall. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the RPM settings could not be changed. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 86,000.
