The electronic throttle control and check engine warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was diagnosed by the dealer, and it was determined that the crankshaft position sensor needed to be repaired. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and determined that the VIN was not under recall. The failure mileage was approximately 110,000.
