My truck has been cutting off while driving on the road. Took it to landmark Dodge in morrow, ga. They did two repairs to fix the problem, and charge me on the 8/31/20 first repair $968.81. It cut off at a couple miles from the shop. Second repairs on the 9/11/20. Pick it up on the 9/14/20. Those repair cost me $1830.20. Again it cut off a couple miles down the road while driving. I had complain before about the faulty totally integrated power module. Dodge had warranty the part. But since then I have replace it four or five times. I paid for the repairs that supposed to fix it. But they are not listening to me. I pull a trailer on the highway, and if the truck cut off, it will put me at risk and who ever driving around me. The dealership had my truck from 8/20/20 to 9/14/20 with same problem that I brought it in for. Now I fill like the truck is a lemon.
Check electronic braking system light comes on and cruise and everything goes out. Had brakes done, it also says towing brake. On interstate for about 30 mins and it dings, the light comes on and cruise stops
Trailer brake warning came on and it automatically shut off my cruise control. I just had the brakes redone a couple of months ago. This has happened before, and it usually after a recall for code updating is done. I was on a 4 lane highway doing 70mph when this happened.
This truck has a air suspension that inflates and deflates all of the time, I am afraid of driving the truck in fear of an accident due to the truck air suspension the left rear deflates and hits metal to metal making it very squirrely. It seems that it nobody knows how to fix this, please help. This happens mainly when it is in motion
Driving to Indiana to see my grandbabies and the check electronic trailer brakes came on the check electronic braking system light came on. Cruise control stopped working and lost power, the same thing happened on the way back to Kentucky. I had the brakes done, but mechanic said it's a sensor I the steering column. This is really dangerous and needs to be recalled.

This has happened on a multitude of occasions. While driving the vehicle, the check engine light, the traction control light will both come on. At the same time as the lights the messages show up and say to service shifter knob, then right after that the service trailer brake system message shows up and will be the only message found in the messages folder. The check engine light and the traction control light stay on. When trying to get the traction control light to go out by pressing the traction control button, nothing happens. This is telling me that I do not have any traction control. This will become a major issue when it snows. Each of these instances have happened while moving both on and off the highway and while at a stop. This has happened also while on the highway about seven months ago while on the highway in the snow.
Electronic stability control warning indicator is illuminated. A clicking noise occurs when the steering wheel is turned to the right. Vehicle veers to the left or right upon exiting turns and continuing in a forward direction.
Engine light on, diagnostic reading: Cylinder 6 misfire detected. Random/multiple misfire detected. Number 6 cylinder has a high count of no compression. The engine light stays on stationary and in motion.
Air suspension fails in cold weather, sometimes turns off traction control and provides a rough ride in ice and snow, making the vehicle less safe. This occurs in all types of driving and has been a problem since I bought it.
Driver heading down hill used the + and - indicators to manually put the transmission into 3rd gear. Going approximately 60/70 mph heard the transmission slip into 2nd gear and the RPM's began to increase. The vehicle continued to accelerate through the manual breaking of the driver. The driver took the next exit placing the vehicle into neutral when a transmission sensor flashed. Still with no gas the engine continued to accelerate. The driver who was able to place the vehicle into park off the exit turned the vehicle off and when turning back on engine continued throttle as if in full acceleration. Vehicle was turned off and towed to vista autogroup in silverthorne, co. Vehicle was repaired finding a faulty acceleration pedal sensor.
Truck lost all ABS break controls, speedometer stopped working and vehicle became stuck in park. The ABS module and ABS motor were saturated in water. Found recall on Dodge journey which matches my issue. Seems like Ram needs to look into issue. Truck has 44246 miles
The contact owns a 2014 Ram 1500. While driving 30 mph, the power steering failed and the power steering warning indicator illuminated. Prior to the failure, the steering ability was stiff and very hesitant. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (friendly Dodge Chrysler Jeep located at 2499 state route 14A, penn yan, NY 14527) where it was diagnosed that the steering gear, electronic stability control, and rack and pinion needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and agreed to cover the cost due to good nature with a $200 deductible. Case number: 31759119 was provided. The contact owns a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500. While driving at 65 mph, the vehicle spun 45 degrees. As a result, the contact crashed into a ditch and the front air bags failed to deploy. There were no injuries and a police report was not filed. The failure recurred twice. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, but was not diagnosed. The vehicle was repaired for the damage. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 28,320.
I have brought my truck back to the dealership due to a rattle in my steering wheel. The rattle occurs when traveling from a standstill up to 30 miles per hour. The dealer was made aware of this situation the week that the bought the truck. It has been brought back 5 times, and each time they acknowledged that there was an issue with my steering system. They stated that they could hear the rattle, and would fix it. The first 3 times it was brought to the dealer, they sent me away stating that they corrected the issue. Once I got back home, and encountered bumpy roads, the rattle was still there. The following 2 times it was at the dealership, they sent me away stating that they would not work on my vehicle any further because they did not know what was causing the rattle. They have reseated both the passenger side and drivers side air bags, they tightened a wire harness on my steering column, then they replaced my steering column coupling, and finally they replaced the entire steering column. They have no idea what they are trying to fix. They stated to me that the know there is an issue, but do not know what is causing it. This issue could very well be a safety issue, as it has to do with my steering system. My vehicle has 5000 miles on it, and has been back to the dealer ship 5 times. I have owned the vehicle for 5 months.
