On way back from vacation had a sewage like smell coming out of truck vents both heat and AC. Also very noticeable around front of truck and engine compartment. Took it to dealer and they had it for a few days. Said they serviced the AC. Left the garage, same smell appeared again. Took it back again, they had it for a week and said they could not locate the source. Said maybe a dead animal was stuck in engine area. Now remember the smell is only there when engine is running and coolant hot. Dodge dealer said it will not be covered if they locate an animal,
iIt would be all my cost.
I took the vehicle home checked the engine area, the frames, any place an animal would get stuck. Checked coolant and almost puked. Contacted dealer, told them I located the source. The dumb f*ckers told me to bring it in the following week. Paying for vehicle which is not being driven. Today vehicle went back for 8:00am appointment. Coolant was flushed waited 6 hrs. Drove off lot, smell was gone, so happy they fixed it... NOT...... 2Hrs later smell is back just as bad. Coolant has that bad odor again. Taking it back and leaving it there. Anyone else have this issue HELP
