On 3 separate occasions, while driving and attempting to stop, the engine stalls. A message displays to "put the vehicle in park, to start", but lost power to everything else. Twice it allowed me to start from park, the 3rd time it would not start. I put it in park, had my foot on the brake, but it did nothing. I shut if off completely, then turned it back on and it started. Additionally, while parked, the driver's side door would not unlock with the keyfob. All other doors unlocked, not the driver's door. I tried several times locking/unlocking, I had to open the rear door and manually pull the lock knob. One other time, while sitting still, the driver's door unlocked itself, when my roommate pulled on the door handle, the door opened and the alarm went off. On another occasion, I was trying to back into my parking space, I went to pull up to straighten out, and the vehicle would not go into drive. I had to shift into park, then back to drive to make it work.

I have had an engine light on for quit some time and I took it to the dealer, they said it was a fuel cap. After leaving there a few days later, same thing. But then I noticed fueling it up took 15 to 20 minutes. So I took it back I android them about the light and the fueling problem. After hours of searching I get a call saying that my filter laying in the frame of the truck was plugged. Which sucked my fuel tank down like a pancake. I also noticed that instead of the fuel cap breathing out itwassucking in, pulling all kinds of dust into the tank. I was never told about this filter when I purchased the vehicle brand new from the dealer. I have found no literature on this either. I bought the extended warranty on truck and it is not covered. What can I do?

I was waiting at a red light waiting to make a left turn. I got a green arrow to turn left and proceeded into the intersection. Right after I started moving at about 1/2 way through my turn my truck's engine completely died. I coasted the rest of the way through the intersection and off to the side of the road. The dealer's analyses was that the fuel pump module failed, causing the engine to shut down.

When we purchased the Ram 1500/V6 engine pickup truck new in April 2013, johnson Dodge, budd lake, NJ, it did not hesitate and ran well. Over the next three months it slowly developed an significant, one second plus, hesitation when accelerating from a dead stop. The service manager [xxx] at johnson Dodge test drove and agreed there was a hesitation but couldn't/can't fix/adjust it do to everything being controlled by computer modules. He said, "until they, (Ram engineers), release a software fix/update or tech bulletin, there was nothing he/they could do." This hesitation is so severe it requires the driver to anticipate the delay and than pre-press the accelerator when crossing a street in heavy traffic or other situation requiring timely accelerator response. I believe this hesitation and lack of dealer correction creates a very dangerous driving requirement of me and any other driver of these pickup trucks.
