The contact owns a 2013 Ram 1500. The contact stated while driving 40-45 MPH, the traction control warning light and the brake warning light were illuminated. The contact stated that he continued driving until it was safe to pull over. The contact stated that he veered to the side of the road and read the Owner-??s Manual. The contact then continued driving. The contact stated that the vehicle responded as needed upon depressing the brake pedal; however, he was concerned that the traction control failure could cause the vehicle to skid while slamming on the brake pedal. Additionally, the contact stated that the Adaptive Cruise Control mode was inoperable. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, and then to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that an unknown module needed to be replaced; however, the part was not available. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that parts were not available. The failure mileage was approximately 141,000.
Vehicle has 77,000 miles and @ 1000 miles ago a noticeable change in ride and handling. Ride has become very stiff at all speeds above 35 mph. Vehicle also has a tendency to give the felling of floating when cornering. I have taken it to the dealer 4 times and they cannot find any codes to tell them something is wrong" they have change many parts, shocks, idler arms, rubber suspension bushings, etc, they have acknowledged the rough ride, but cannot find the reason" I believe it is a sensor or regulator valve, that controls the air suspension at various speeds and when cornering. The truck rides like the there is excessive air pressure in the air bags to soften the ride at various speeds,
I was shopping in ikea at atlantic station when I came out I saw fire trucks in the parking lot just to walk up and find that my truck was on fire and the fire department was putting out the fire.
My vehicle has been giving trouble for the past 3 months, with the electrical panel going off while driving on streets and highways, not being able to control speed or brakes, windshield wipers coming on randomly, signals not working, false alarms for washer fluid, radio and bluetooth shutting down and car shutting down and not starting altogether. I've taken it to 3 different shops and mechanics, who all had a hard time diagnosing and fixing the problems. I've had to spent a lot of money on tow trucks and repairs, and am not convinced the issues are adequately repaired. I also firmly believe this is and should be a recall issue. The previous section would not let me choose all the issues but I've had problems with air bag, brakes, elec. Stability control, electrical, engine, fuel/propulsion system, lighting, power train, speed control, steering, suspension, visibility/wiper and wheels.
When I purchased in October 2017, I drove the truck for a couple of weeks when my passenger airbag light came on and also the seat belt signal came on brought it to dealership was told I must pay out of pocket, I respectfully told them that I should not have to pay out of pocket that there is a malfunction and they should fix it no response and charged me to look at it as I sat for 2 hours....

Driving assistance features were rendered unavailable during a software update which I believe contributed to a collision. The vehicle was in motion on a highway when control was lost resulting in a crash.
I purchased this truck and had issues and would like to be in the takata recall list. Brought in to dealership 2 weeks after purchase and was told I have to pay for repairs they do not cover these areas very upset. Please help me... thank you it happens when I start my vehicle and when moving...
Truck starting to shake and not be able to accelerate, took it to get check out, replace lifters, cam shaft, getting codes of mis fire in cylinder six, then cylinder four. Then cylinder 6 reactivation control performance, then cylinder deactivation system bank 1, oil pressure out of range camshaft advance/ retard disabled. Spent. When driving going over pass or incline trucks starts to shake like its going to explode. Now it is starting to just die and turn off while driving or at a stop sign.
Service airbag system. Service electronic braking system. Service pwer steering. Service electronic trottle conteol. Service power steering. These came up wore throng it on to leave for the day. That happened 2 times. Truck had to be towed. Upload to software was done. 2 days later the A/C fan went out. It was replaced but still turned off antway. Dealer stayed radio need to be replaced. 5 wks latter - it's beyond installed. Dealer stayed software upload had nothing to do with radio mess up. I beg to differ. Radio controls alot of stuff critical to the function of the truck. It's happened several times for over 8 months. It's been in the shop more than I've driven.
Randomly instrument cluster will go blank. Sometimes check ABS system, sometimes check transmission shifter, service trailer brake. This has happened for the last4 months. I can not figure any pattern when it happens.speedometer and RPM guages will sometimes stop[ working and the other guages will work
I first noticed that, while in drive, the transmission would shift to 4th gear and could not be changed. I could shift from park to reverse but when I tried to go to drive it would go to 4th gear. Then, 2 days ago, I began to notice other problems that appeared to be computer related. When I turned the ruck off there would be a ticking noise in the engine. I checked and it appeared to be the A/C/ compressor. Then it stopped when I unlocked the truck doors. Then I noticed what seemed to be the fuel pump ticking as if calling for fuel. Once again, the engine was off and, once again, it stopped. The next morning my battery was dead. I tried to jump it with no luck so I purchased E new battery. Now when I try to start it, the starter makes all kind of crazy noises and it won't start.
The contact owns a 2013 Ram 1500. While driving approximately 75 mph, the check engine, ABS, and ESC warning indicators illuminated. In addition, the speedometer and cruise control seized and the vehicle lost acceleration. The dealer diagnosed the ABS module failed. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 64,000.
The vehicle start with the remote but when the key was put in and turned to run. The dash said turn key to run. As the key was already in the run position I wiggled the shifter and it turned off. The dash stated remote was disabled and to reset start vehicle. I tried to restart the truck but it would not start. The truck parked was in my drive way at the time. I believe the fault is the total integrated power module (tipm).
Driving approximately 70 mph at 7:30am on a Saturday on a 4 lane interstate. Light rain, truck started hydroplaning sideways, no traction at all, then sudden traction thrusting truck into guardrail head on, bounced backwards into the middle lane, then traction again moving truck forward into a ditch, up the embankment and hitting a tree head on. Total loss of traction and brakes. Airbags did not deploy. Over $10,000 in damage.
The contact owns a 2013 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact scheduled an appointment to have the vehicle repaired according to NHTSA campaign number: 13V287000 (electronic stability control). When the contact arrived at the dealer, he was informed that he did not have an appointment. The dealer stated that a loaner vehicle would not be provided if the vehicle was serviced. The contact stated that the sales contract stated otherwise. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was unavailable. The failure mileage was 19,185.
My Ram 1500 manufactured 2013 stopped suddenly and refused to start up again with all electrical equipment been working regularly. This is the second time happened to me after two weeks only. The problem has been reported immediately to my closest agent. The first report didn't diagnose any defect on the truck. I consider this incident as a very high and critical safety issue.
