The +/- manual gear select buttons (for the ERS system - 'electronic range select') on the gear shift do not respond at all. U1449 code is stored in OBDII, which is 'ERS unplausible error'. Dealer replaced Body control module but this did not fix the problem; in fact they returned the vehicle to me with the same issue it went in with. Currently working with dealer, who does not want to admit they diagnosed it incorrectly (typical Mopar cockiness). I have no low gear, and no way to turn off ECO mode/cylinder deactivation, other than tow/haul mode (which changes the shift pattern too).
