I brought my Dodge Ram in because the air conditioner was not working properly. When I called in for the appointment I was given a 3 week appt. It has been in the triple digits and I had to drive my hot truck in that and it was miserable. After waiting three weeks I finally took my vehicle in; I was first in line first one t here. I have an extended warranty and was told that it would be a $50.00 deductible. Being a single woman I don't have alot of money and told them to please let me know before any work is done as I needed to make sure I would have the funds. I had to get the shuttle to take me to work and heard nothing all day from my consultant Tony. I had to call at the end of my work day to be told that they could not get to it that day. Had to find a ride home and a ride to work the next day. The next day I heard nothing and no one called me back. I left a message for the service manager Chris, he did call back but when I noticed the call it was after six and I thought they were closed. The next day I called early and was told that they had found some plastic trash bags that were in my glove box had got sucked into the air conditioning. I asked how can this be as I thought the glove box was sealed and that anything I put in there would be safe from being sucked into the motor. I asked how was I supposed to know that this could happen? I was never informed and further they told me that the warranty would not cover this and that I had to pay the one hour service fee. I told them that I didn't have the money and that after waiting three weeks for an appt and not being told what was the problem until after they pulled the trash bags out I couldn't pay them. Chris said that there was nothing he could do; I said I was upset that something like this could not have been resolved and how could he help me. He acted like he didn't care, he brought it down 15.00 which was still way too much for me., as I had to get a payday loan to pay for this. I told him I wold never buy another Dodge from them and he said. "Thats fine Mam". huh? no trying to work with me ? I will not buy or take my care for service there again. The customer service is bad, they don't care to help you resolve the issues. I am still upset about this. It's not only the money and the fact that I am going without until my next pay day, it's the fact that they don't treat you with good customer service that they should be ashamed of themselves. . At least let people know, especially in my case as a woman, let us know that the items in your glove box can get sucked up into the motor and air conditioner.
