Right headlight fails intermittently. Acts like loose connection. I have even ziptied the connection to no avail.

Update from Jan 16, 2021 Light problem continues

One morning I would have 2 high beams and 1 low. The next day no low beams, but both high beams. One morning only passenger side low beam. I am currently on a first name basis with the Sheriffs department and the highway patrol. I had the TIPM module replaced on 1/19/2018. All lights worked after replacement. On 2/12/2018 started having the same issue with headlights again. This morning 2/15/2018 I had no headlight at all. Drove to work with running lights only. Have a 2/19/2018 appointment at the dealership again. Who knows what this will cost. This really is a safety issue. There should be a recall on this.

Had the light bulbs changed by local dealer. The lights work for a couple days then started going out again. Called dealer and they wanted a fee to trouble shoot. So I did some research and found out that the problem is the TIPM. This is a major problem with Chrysler products. Found there are lawsuits and some recalls but not for my truck. What is Chrysler's problem with making a known part good for all the vehicles.

2012 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn 4X4. I started having headlight problems about 6 months ago when I almost got a $150 ticket for having a headlight out. he next morning I went and purchased two new bulbs and proceeded to pull the front end of the truck apart to get to the lamps. Thank goodness for the internet. After finally getting to the bulbs and checking them I noticed that they were not burned out, there were no burn marks or melted plastic connections, everything looked fine. So I started researching it, and found that there were TIPM problems that could be causing this to happen. So I followed the online instructions by unhooking my battery overnight and low and behold the passenger headlights started working again, well for about a 3 weeks, then it happened again. And of course I call the Dealer and they have never heard of the problem. You would think that a $52,000 vehicle would have at least working headlights.

Passenger headlight quit working, assumed it was the bulb. Replaced the bulb and it still did not work. Purchased second bulb and it still did not work. Started the truck the next morning and it was working. Three days later quit working again.

Found online that Chrysler has had quit a lot of problems with their TIPM's, including recalls and lawsuit. Worried that if I have a faulty TIPM it could cause a serious safety issue. Not to mention headlights are a safety item in themselves.
